For those of you struggling to find shrubs and trees that will fit your lot without becoming overbearing or exceedingly large for the space, you aren’t alone. But there is good news! Plant growers are continually developing additional cultivars of friendly favorites. As of late, a key focus has been on developing columnar, compact, and dwarf varieties to fit today’s smaller lots.

What does that mean? There is no need to despair when searching of options for your home, but rather to excitedly jump on board with new cultivars!
